Instructions - Confetti Cannon

You need:

• balloons

• Washi tape
• scissors

You see: it doesn't take much for the DIY confetti cannon from the DIY brand. The following instructions are super suitable for children, since all steps can be carried out by the little ones themselves. So if there is a birthday or carnival party, you can easily schedule this tinkering as a surprise. And so every child also has a souvenir for at home.

Step 1: At the beginning, take out a balloon. Cut off the tip of this.

Note: The balloon should have a round shape so that you can simply put it over the tube.

Step 2: Then put the balloon with the opening just cut over the cardboard tube.

Step 3: Now it's time to decorate the confetti cannon. Here you can let your creativity run free. With colored adhesive tape, washi tape, you can do this in no time. Wrap the cardboard tube with tape, starting at the edge of the balloon. The balloon should be attached so that it is not pulled off when using the cannon. In the end, the excess adhesive tape is simply wrapped inwards around the edge.

Step 4: Before the confetti cannon can be filled and used, the balloon must be closed. Simply make a knot in the mouthpiece of the balloon.

Step 5: Now the party can go up! Just pull on the balloon and let go. The confetti now flies out of the cannon.

Important: The confetti cannon should be held at a slight angle when in use and aimed at the target.

Alternative to the cardboard tube

For a DIY confetti bomb you can use all containers from everyday life, such as plastic or paper cups. It is only necessary to ensure that the balloon can be pulled over the opening and does not slip.

With a mug, of course, the first thing you have to do is cut an opening in the bottom.
